Product Description
Calcium Formate is most commonly used as animal feed preservative with E number E238. It has a chemical formula Ca(HCO2)2 with a molecular weight of 130.113 g/mol. This compound is said to have the ability to impart various desirable properties to cement & grouts hence finds application for the construction industry. It decomposes at 300 degrees Celsius and shows the density of 2.02 g/cm3. Calcium Formate appears as a white-colored crystalline powder with slightly acetic acid like odor.
